Since it’s establishment in 1994 (Melbourne, Australia), Ultima has been servicing the Computing requirements of business clients throughtout Australia. In particular, providing custom and complete end-to-end IT solutions including the supply, installation and ongoing management of client-server products, software and networking equipment and associated technologies.
Leveraging this experience and expertise, in particular in networking and server technology, in 2005 Ultima launched USA based hosting services in response to a lack of hosting options which catered to professional developers in the local Australian and International markets. Ultima Hosts was initially established to host Ultima's current clients, but rapidly grew into a significant worldwide hosting provider.
Ultima expanded it's International Hosting services in April, 2007 with the launch of it's London based hosting servers and support services to in particular better service the British and European markets.
In June 2007, similarly to best service the growing demand and expansion in the local Australian market – we established our most extensive array of services to-date with our Melbourne - shared, Virtual Private Server (VPS), dedicated servers and colocation hosting Services.
In 2009 Ultima continues to expand with it's latest offering of providing a range of cost-effective Australia-wide high quality data services (with redundancy options), including fixed and burstable bandwidth data as well as Point-to-Point, VPN and Private IP WAN Networks incl. via Optical Fibre.
Ultima is also planning on offering hosting services in Canada, Germany and Singapore in 2010 as well as the commencement of local national expansion to other major Australian Capital cities – including Brisbane and Sydney.
